Social Ministry

What does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?’  Micah 6:8

Texas students need our help! Holy Trinity has adopted a classroom.  We will be gathering supplies for a 7th grade classroom in Rosenberg, Texas.  Holy Trinity is ‘matched’ with  teacher Deborah Kretschmer from George Junior High. “We are a title one school in Rosenberg Texas on the outside of Houston. The Brazos river has caused massive flooding and we have 5 schools opened as shelters including our Junior high. It is a wonderful community. School supplies, backpacks, gift cards to Target for clothes or food, and anything else like cards thinking about them would be great and greatly appreciated.” Teachers will be returning to their schools to clean up and hope to begin school on September 11.

Because of the immediate need, I will be collecting cash donations to purchase supplies, or you can shop from the list below  and I will ship them, as well as Target gift cards and any cards of encouragement you’d like to send to students, families and staff.  I will ship it all September 18. (In checking their website – there are @ 500 7th grade students).
