WHAT GOES ON AT A GROUP LESSON SUNDAY?
We sing campy songs, celebrate birthdays, read the Bible story of the day, and we might do a craft or break into our class groups to work on age-level worksheets and activities. We close the group lesson by saying the Lord’s Prayer together.
Our birthday celebration involves an “age countdown.” Children bring in a coin for each year and they drop the coins in our birthday chapel piggy bank. This offering is combined with our regular Sunday School offering to fund our chosen philanthropic cause.
Our next group lesson is November 6th. If your child has a birthday in November, please have them bring the number of coins to match their age. See you in Sunday School!
Sunday School Teachers
Our new Sunday School model means that people who teach will miss worship. To reduce that impact, we are hoping for teams of 4 teachers (and helpers) so that you would only miss worship one time per month. Anyone (men, women, with or without children) can teach!
