Our topic for the Lenten worship was “Woven in Christ”
Picking out ribbon and fabric
Starting to weave
Ribbon and yarn were contributed by members

We talked about how we are woven together in creation, confession, community, caring, and in call.

We began to weave using 4 sturdy frames
Halfway through Lent
working together
a good time for fellowship
we wrote messages on the ribbon
a cross of wheat and wine Maundy Thursday's weaving

During Holy Week, our weavings were taken off the frames and sewn together.

On Maundy Thursday, a cross of wheat and wine colored cloth appeared
Good Friday
Easter Sunday

On Good Friday the material was slashed to reveal Christ’s sacrifice

And on Easter Sunday, His Glory is revealed!
Alleluia!  Christ is Risen!
