The Bylaws are Up for Vote on May 18
Your Reconciliation Council has approved bylaws that it recommends the congregation adopt at the
Mid-Year Congregational Meeting on May 18 at 9:00 a.m. A copy is linked here:

If you would prefer to review the bylaws in the context of the Constitution provisions to which they relate, linked below is a copy of our Constitution that incorporates the proposed bylaws. (This document also includes the continuing resolutions that the Council intends to adopt.) The bylaws and continuing resolutions are in italics. The text that is not in italics is the existing language of our Constitution, as adopted by the congregation on January 27, 2008.

Among other subjects, the proposed bylaws address how we will conduct mutual ministry and employee relations at HTLC. Linked below is a memo that summarizes the bylaw provisions that address those subjects, and discusses their intent and purposes.

New HTLC Constitution
Our amended Constitution was approved at the Annual Meeting on January 27, 2008,
and is now in effect. A copy is linked here for your reference.
Draft bylaws are in process with the Church Council, and are expected
to be published to the congregation for comment in mid-March.
