Rally Sunday

Various groups and activities add to our sense of internal community

We get together for coffee and goodies after Sunday morning services, and offer a Grand Coffee on special occasions such as Rally Sunday and Easter Sunday.

We put on special events throughout the year, such as our Annual Christmas Dinner, held in early December, and our Mother-Daughter brunch in May.

Our newly formed ‘Cluster Groups’ (based on members’ addresses) are another way of getting to know each other. Come join us!

Prayer Shawl Ministry – A Stitch In Time

Do you enjoy knitting or crocheting? Would you like to learn? Are you able to teach oth- ers? Would you like to spend time in fellowship and prayer? We gather on the last Tuesday of each month at 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. for a time of fellowship, knitting, cro- chet, and a bit of prayer. You might work on squares for the blankets Holy Trinity gifts to High School seniors; perhaps make hats or scarves for the homeless; how about prayer shawls – the creation of special scarves or shawls for special times in people’s lives. They can be offered as comfort or in celebration or in recognition.

We have yarn available for this years’ Graduation blankets (there are 7 seniors this year) and for prayer shawls. Both projects are simple, we have patterns and would love to help you! Our “Mission @ Home” team did a great job moving and organizing all our yarn – come for a “tour” of the yarn closet! This year we will meet monthly and two times (January 22 and April 22) to assemble grad blankets. Contact Pastor Deanna or Kathy Fisher  for more information.

Holy Trinity has had a daytime book group for many years. And now an opportunity for an evening book group is being explored. No books have been selected yet. The plan is to read a variety of books from a variety of authors on a variety of topics and then enjoy shared conversation.

If you have questions, contact Pastor Deanna.
